LUPIN Offers On-Line Planning, Land Use Data

A new on-line tool -- the Land Use Planning and Information Network (LUPIN) -- provides more convenient access to county general plans, environmental impact reports, planning reports and publications, and a variety of other material via the World Wide Web.

LUPIN, a new component of CERES -- the California Environmental Resources Evaluation System of the California Resources Agency -- offers information from all 58 California counties, including county profiles, special status species, infrastructure and demographics, and material referenced by county from many sources. It is a collaborative enterprise of the Departments of Water Resources, Conservation, Fish and Game, and other local, state, and federal contributors of data and information.
