Biodiversity Council plans meetings in Modoc Plateau and Pasadena: The Biodiversity Council will work their way from north to south this coming fall and winter with a meeting in Alturas on August 28 & 29 and then a joint meeting in Pasadena on November 18 & 19.

  • Riverside County Integrated Plan: Riverside County is at the epicenter of California’s population explosion. As a result, the County’s leadership has embarked on a three-year planning effort to prepare environmental, transportation, and housing guidelines for the next 50 years.
  • LAFCOs - What are they?: State law provides for LAFCOs to be formed as independent agencies in each county in California. LAFCOs implement state law requirements and state and local policies relating to boundary changes for cities and most special districts.

Council meets with Southwest Strategy in Yuma, Arizona: The CBC met with the Southwest Strategy on this past March. Find out about this special event in which the Biodiversity Council met with representatives of its neighboring states.
