Invasive Species Project
The goal of this project was to develop ways to improve agency effectiveness and efficiency through better coordination, specifically for prevention, detection, and rapid response for new occurrences of invasive organisms in the state. Nearly 30 agencies participated in this effort. Participants formed 3 subcommittees to address three topics: 1. Elements of a State Strategic Plan, 2. More Efficient Environmental Permitting Processes, and 3. Standardized Rapid Response Procedures.
